True leadership is about having a vision and a caring heart. If you have these two, you can implement the attitudes and the essential skills you need to become an extraordinary leader. The challenge with leadership is that most people want to put in less effort and discipline required to study and practice it. They wish they could wake up someday to be a skillful leader. That’s just wishful thinking and hope. Even though hope is a good thing but passive hope is dangerous. It means that you don’t take action when you have great opportunities in front of you. You keep waiting and don’t develop yourself until someday you feel like you are left behind, and this is not because you were lazy, but simply because you didn’t create a clear vision about WHO you want to become and HOW you want to inspire others as a leader.
UAE is a powerful country with many great leaders in position. We believe that the world could learn from the UAE’s leadership mindset of genuinely caring about people and creating environments for their growth. We are grateful to contribute to this great country and its wonderful people. We have studied the needs of the youth in the UAE and created one of the world’s most powerful leadership development programs called; Emirates Youth Leadership.
