Does Your Leadership Style Matter?

Leadership is about three things; Accountability, Responsibility, and Ownership. When you look at yourself and accept your weaknesses, and put your ego aside, then your vulnerability will serve you, and you can lead with heart to inspire people. Here are a few things you can do to Step Up your leadership;

1. Demand More From Yourself Than Anyone Else Ever Demands From You.

This is how you can become a super success and gain all the admiration, praise, and wealth you deserve. As a great leader you must spend time daily on self-development so you can achieve all the rerewards. Schedule a daily routine that will guarantee you measurable progress in a reasonable time.

2. Raise Your Standard. Change Your “Should” to “MUST.”

When you decide, commit, and act upon your words to set a new standards and do not accept mediocre or average, then people will notice the new leader in you. Remember; nothing will change until YOU change. Nothing will get better, until YOU get better. One of your main responsibilities as a leader is to select the right players around you and help them to take your vision and turn it to the highest standard reality. If you hesitate and don’t tell them the truth by trying to be a pleaser, this is going to cost you time, effort, and tons of money. Be honest and help your team to see the GAP and turn their should list to MUST list starting with yourself.

3. Be a Warrior Leader, NOT a Worrier Leader.

Your energy is contagious and can empower or disempower the people around you. Always pay attention to how you show up and what STATE you are in. Your state is about your physiology, how you walk, talk, and communicate with other. How you use the right language patterns and how fast you solve problems. If you can manage your state from an unresourceful one like frustration, worry, anger, or rage and learn to change your state in a heart beat to; gratitude, love, compassion, excitement, and passion, then remarkable results will happen for you and your team.

4. Take Bigger Risks, and Stop Playing Small.

If your dreams and risks don’t scare you daily, then they are not big enough because they are not moving your blood in an exciting manner. Taking risks does not mean to be stupid and delusional like enthusiastically running the wrong direction and looking for the desired results. As a leader you must learn to anticipate and see the future better than so many other people. Great leaders don’t necessarily know how to exactly make things happen step by step. They come up with an unreasonable vision and they need a powerful team to believe in that vision and do the hard work to take the invisible and make it visible.

5. Leaders Create Leaders. Your Communication and Public Speaking Skill.

You must master the art of public speaking like many other word-class leaders. This skill will make you a great inspiration to create many other leaders. You must practice rapport and gain trust from the people around you. You can do this by asking empowering questions and just by being present. Human development is one of the major areas that you must focus on for education and training others constantly. You must get the habit to teach, educate, and train those who need your knowledge and wisdom. H.H.
