New Year’s Resolutions: How to Keep Them!

by Coach Kardan

Wishing everyone a happy New Year 2022 from myself Coach Kardan and the whole Step Up International team! May this year bring happiness, good health and success to you all.

Let’s talk about New Year’s Resolutions!

Many people think of and set resolutions for the new year, and perhaps they can maintain what they set up to do for a month or two…but then, resolutions are often forgotten about or get buried in the day to day life. So why do New Year Resolutions tend to fail? Mostly because people think of resolutions as a statement – a declaration – or what you wish for.

To have a successful resolution, the statement must be accompanied by an ACTION PLAN! This action plan should be as detailed as possible, with a list of actions which must be followed on schedule to achieve the goal. Schedule them in your upcoming year’s agenda, and put in concrete deadlines. Write down the negative consequences if you don’t meet those deadlines. Furthermore, if you could make a backup plan as well, it will help you achieve your goal. Being as precise as possible for your resolution is key.

Don’t let another New Year’s Resolution go down the drain! Make the 2022 resolution the one that actually comes true!

With love and respect,

Coach Kardan

Don’t make resolutions without an action plan.

The secret to success is right in your hands.
